Romeo's Pizza, Northeast Ohio's locally based pizza leader, is hoping to lead the pack at the Susan G. Komen Cleveland Race For The Cure. Ryan Rose, CEO of Romeo's Pizza, is excited that the Romeo's Pizza staff and all of it's customers will have the opportunity to join "Team Romeo's,” a specially developed group of walkers and racers that will unite under the Romeo's Pizza banner. "It's simple," Ryan says. "All you have to do is get onboard on our website when you're ordering online by joining Team Romeo's or just make a donation to help us Race For The Cure." One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, and the Susan G. Komen Foundation is dedicated to lowering that statistic and fighting for a cure.

This is one part of an expanding effort Rose is spearheading to make Romeo's extremely active in the fabric of the community through charity and caring. Even a new slogan, "Pizza Crafted With A Purpose,” was developed with this new corporate directive in mind.

Romeo's Pizza is an Ohio based company composed of franchised and corporately owned locations in Northeast Ohio and Columbus. Some of Romeo's Pizza's accolades include winning the Best Pizza in the Midwest twice, the Best Gourmet Pizza in America, the Best Pizza in Cleveland and Columbus and being featured on the Food Network $10,000 Pizza Challenge. "It's exciting to team up with Race For The Cure," Rose says. "For all our success, we feel that the most important accomplishment we can look back on every year is the amount we will have given back."

Romeo's Pizza is a major supporter of MDA and also St. Jude Children's Hospital, which will be their next major fundraising campaign in the months of November and December.
