International Japanese restaurant brand YO! Sushi announced the opening of two new restaurants in the U.S., with the upcoming debut of its first stand-alone locations in New York City and Boston this fall. Demonstrating the brand’s commitment to further increasing its presence across the country, the brand will lead this expansion with the opening of the first YO! Sushi in Boston in October, followed by the opening of its 100th restaurant in New York City this November.

"Since 1997, YO! Sushi has revolutionized sushi and Japanese street food via our signature conveyor belts in more than a dozen countries,” says Robin Rowland, CEO of YO! Sushi. “We are thrilled to launch in New York City and Boston, two of the country’s most renowned food cities, and are excited to continue serving millions of customers worldwide.”

YO! Sushi’s U.S. expansion represents two of the most noteworthy openings for the restaurant brand this year, with its new Boston restaurant—the first stand-alone YO! Sushi in the U.S.—opening on Seaport Boulevard this October. The 2,225-square foot location will seat 65 guests and is nestled within Boston’s Seaport District. In November, YO! Sushi will open the doors to its first New York City location. Taking over 1,800-square feet in the heart of the city’s bustling Flatiron District on West 23rd Street, this landmark location will feature full-service dining, with a spotlight on “YO! To-Go,” the brand’s popular takeaway menu options. This location will also offer online ordering options, with the full menu available for delivery or pick-up immediately upon opening. Similar to all YO! Sushi restaurants, the menu at each location will feature over 90 dishes, including traditional sushi, fresh salads, hot dishes, and Japanese desserts on the brand’s signature conveyor belt. To further commemorate the brand’s expansion, YO! Sushi will also debut a selection of new food offerings inspired by Boston and New York City, served exclusively at each location.

As YO! Sushi approaches its 100th restaurant opening, the brand recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its first U.S. restaurant in May with the launch and debut of its new menu across all U.S. locations, including Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey; The Mall at Short Hills in Millburn, New Jersey; Woodbury Common Outlet Mall in Central Valley, New York; The Mall at University Town Center in Sarasota, Florida; and International Plaza in Tampa, Florida.
