After launching its franchise opportunity a year ago, Firenza Pizza, a fast-casual restaurant that specializes in custom, made-to-order artisanal pizzas, is continuing its rapid expansion by signing another multi-unit agreement that will bring 42 new locations to Central and South Florida.

The stores will be developed over the next five years by area directors Jesse Domeracki and Ken Boyce, with the first one scheduled to open in the Tampa area within the next six to nine months.

“Firenza’s team of seasoned franchise executives and immense growth potential drove our interest to the brand,” says Domeracki. “What really won us over were the products—they’re unforgettable in the sense that you can taste the freshness and quality of each and every ingredient that goes into making them.”

Domeracki has owned and operated several businesses including a commercial furniture company and a project management company. Boyce, on the other hand, is a franchise veteran who previously took the helm of a salon/real estate franchise and is also a former partner at a franchise development firm.

“We are excited to enter the Southeast region and we couldn’t have found better partners who are as thrilled about the concept as we are," adds Firenza co-founder and president Dave Baer. "Jesse and Ken’s extensive business and franchise experience make them the ideal partners to help execute our rapid growth. This area development agreement is without a doubt a significant step forward for our company."

Touting “Pizza Like Never Before,” Firenza offers fresh-baked pizzas with unlimited toppings per customer’s choice, for one low price.

Customers can pick and choose from nearly 40 toppings—six signature sauces, seven cheeses, nine meats and 17 veggies—and watch their customized pies assembled right in front of them. For those customers who don’t want to create their pizzas from scratch, Firenza also offers eight, chef-inspired signature pizzas. Once the pizzas are assembled, they’re baked in an open flame stone-hearth oven and guaranteed to be done within five minutes.

The pizza dough is made in-house daily and hand-stretched to order right in front of the customers. Once the pizza dough is stretched, customers can customize their pizzas with unlimited toppings for one low price.
