The first time Belinda Poblete played New York Lottery’s Cash 4 Life drawing game, she won the jackpot. Poblete typically plays Mega Millions and Powerball, but decided on a whim to play Cash 4 Life and chose random numbers, which ended up being the winning ticket. After the shock of winning wore off, Poblete considered various ways to invest her money, including franchising, and ultimately decided to open a Red Mango Yogurt Café Smoothie and Juice Bar in Nanuet.

“I am so excited to open my first franchise location in Nanuet and share my love for Red Mango with the community,” says Poblete. “I wanted to offer the public something healthy and Red Mango fit the bill with its fresh, high-quality and flavorful menu.”

Poblete’s location, slated to open summer 2017, will showcase an expanded concept, which Red Mango has been rolling out nationwide, that serves raw, fresh-squeezed, ice-filtered juices and made-to-order cafe meals under 500 calories in addition to the frozen yogurt, fresh smoothies, and parfaits that have made Red Mango famous.

“We’re excited to welcome Belinda to the Red Mango family,” says Rudy Frederico, director of franchise development for Red Mango FC, LLC. “We look forward to working with her to build her business and offer the community of Nanuet a perfect place to sit back, relax and dig in—spoon first.”

Based in Dallas and with more than 300 locations across the U.S., Mexico, El Salvador, and Uruguay, Red Mango is a rapidly expanding retailer of all-natural frozen yogurt, light foods, and fresh-squeezed, ice-filtered juices.
