Veggie Grill, a leading, premium fast casual veggie-centric brand, named Randall Niemeyer as Chief Financial Officer.

In his new position at Veggie Grill, Niemeyer will be a key leader of the brand’s strategic growth and will oversee accounting, finance, IT, legal and capital management. Niemeyer brings over 20 years of experience as CFO of several fast-casual brands.

Prior to joining Veggie Grill, Niemeyer was CFO of Bay Area-based Specialty’s Café and Bakery, Inc. During his eight year tenure at Specialty’s, Niemeyer led strategic planning as the brand grew from 20 to 56 restaurant locations, and managed teams across finance, IT and legal divisions, with a heavy focus on leveraging technology to enhance the guest experience.

Before Specialty’s, Niemeyer served as CFO of Italian fast-casual concept Pasta Pomodoro for six years, and previously he was CFO of the fast-casual Mexican brand Una Mas. A seasoned finance leader, Niemeyer’s experience developing early stage growth businesses spans over 30 years.

“We are thrilled to have such a talented, experienced restaurant veteran as Randy join the company as we look to grow quickly over the next few years,” says Veggie Grill CEO Steve Heeley. “With Randy’s wealth of experience in rapid growth fast-casual brands, we know he will be a strategic addition to the leadership team.”

As the premier veggie-based restaurant concept in the U.S, Veggie Grill offers guests an everyday dining experience uniquely different from the crowd of “better for you” concepts in the fast-casual space.
