Jamestown, LP, the owner of Brunswig Square in the heart of Los Angeles’s Little Tokyo neighborhood, is pleased to announce that Spinfish Poké House, the popular fast-casual poké shop, has opened.  The owners, Andy and Kat, were inspired by their travels to Hawaii, their passion for the beautiful island state, and their love of the island’s popular poké dishes.  Spinfish joins Brunswig Square’s growing roster of exceptional food and beverage tenants, which includes Ebisu Sushi, the acclaimed Japanese whisky bar Wolf & Crane, and Tenno Sushi.

“We are thrilled to open our third Spinfish location in the heart of Little Tokyo, Downtown Los Angeles’s most pedestrian friendly, vibrant neighborhood,” the owners said.  “We look forward to getting to know the community and introducing poké to an already rich dining scene.”

Spinfish offers handcrafted bowls of sashimi-grade fish and fresh, high-quality ingredients tossed in Spinfish’s unique, house-made, fusion-inspired sauces.  The menu includes nine variations of poké with signature poké bowls such as the Aloha 808 (tuna with sesame shoyu, ogo limu, Hawaiian sea salt, chile flakes, and green onion), the Shaka (sriracha aïoli, masago, panko, and green onion), and the Caribbean (hamachi with pineapple-mango salsa).  Customers can also create their own poké bowls by choosing from a variety of fresh fishes, sauces, and toppings.

“At its core, Little Tokyo is a culturally significant and dynamic neighborhood, and our goal at Brunswig Square is to match that energy and diversity,” says Michael Phillips, president of Jamestown.

For more than 30 years, Jamestown has built a reputation for stewardship of landmark properties on the east and west coasts of the United States.  Iconic and beloved places such as New York City’s Chelsea Market, San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Square, Boston’s Newbury Collection, and Malibu Village, among many others, make up the Jamestown portfolio. Spinfish joins a growing list of the nation’s most innovative restaurants located within the Jamestown portfolio.
