The Lenten Season is fast approaching with Church’s Chicken announcing the return of a variety of Lent-friendly seafood menu options starting on Monday, February 27.

Back by popular demand are Church’s Lemon-Seasoned Butterfly Shrimp and Crispy Fish. Guests may choose tender, marinated shrimp, or flaky white fish filets, fried up golden brown, and finished with the perfect blend of zesty lemon herb seasoning. Also returning to the menu for a limited time, are Church’s Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside hush puppies made from Church’s signature biscuit dough.

“In addition to our scratch-made chicken, guests welcome our longstanding tradition of serving seafood during the Lenten season,” says Jennifer Chasteen, senior director of brand and product strategy for Church’s Chicken. “We’re excited to bring back our most popular lemon-seasoned seafood dishes this Lent.”

Meal options include the choice of eight Lemon-Seasoned Butterfly Shrimp or two Lemon-Seasoned Crispy Fish Filets paired with five Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites, starting at just $3.49. A Family Fish Fry offering will also be available, featuring eight Lemon-Seasoned Crispy Fish Filets, Large Fries & Cole Slaw, 20 Hush Puppy Biscuit Bites, plus a Half Gallon of Church’s Southern Sweet Tea. Prices and availability vary by location.

“Bringing our guests quality and value has always been a cornerstone of the Church’s promise,” Chasteen adds. “Our shrimp and fish options are proof of that and allow people to stretch their dollar further while also still enjoying great-tasting quality seafood.”
