As the company continues to evolve and expand its presence in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Villa Restaurant Group, global multi-brand restaurant operator and franchisor, announced that Andrew Steinberg was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In his new vital role as COO, Andrew will oversee all departments of Villa Restaurant Group, including Business Development, Operations, Corporate Development, Purchasing, R & D, Communications and Digital Marketing, Talent and Culture Development, and Brand Marketing.

Andrew, who has been with Villa Restaurant Group for 20 years, has made significant contributions to the organization. Throughout his career at Villa, he has managed the company’s Green Leaf’s & Bananas and Emerging Brands groups and played a significant part in key openings, such as Newark Liberty Airport, Sands Casino and Arizona Mills locations. He has forged the foundation for a best-in-class Purchasing Department, provided guidance for the development of the Store Planning and Construction team, as well as many other behind-the-scenes projects.  One of Andrew’s greatest strengths continues to be his ability to build long-lasting relationships, with suppliers and vendors, as well as many Villa employees, both at the Corporate Office and in the field.

Andrew boasts more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, with significant knowledge in several areas, from business management and operations, to construction, marketing and more. Before Villa, Andrew held positions at top restaurants brands, including Bennigan’s, where at the age of 22, he became the youngest General Manager for the company.  Andrew currently resides in Chester, New Jersey, with his family, and holds a degree in Business Management from Ithaca College in New York.
