R Taco, a fast-casual street taco chain backed by Buffalo Wild Wings, announced the addition of a new franchise group along with the opening of new franchise locations in Ohio and Minnesota. Franchise owner ThreeWitt Enterprises Inc, recently opened a R Taco in Dayton, Ohio near the University of Dayton.

With this newest addition, R Taco now has 18 company-owned and franchised locations serving street-style tacos in Dallas, Texas; Denver, Colorado; Omaha, Nebraska, Dayton, Ohio; and Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn. with more planed throughout the year. The Eden Prairie, Minn. Location opened March 5, 2017.

ThreeWitt is operated by three principles David Fisher, Eric Lundgren, and John Slaughenhaupt, The group previously owned 15 Buffalo Wild Wings franchise locations in Ohio and South Carolina.

Launched in Dallas in 2010 as Rusty Taco and named for co-founder Rusty Fenton, the company shortened its name in 2015 to R Taco to provide broader appeal as the concept continues to expand beyond its Dallas roots. Restaurants have a welcoming atmosphere with quirky décor, bold colors, an open ceiling and open kitchen, with natural and industrial lighting. Service is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Buffalo Wild Wings is seeking interested and qualified franchisees and business partners with multi-restaurant experience to expand R Taco nationwide.
