The Arby’s Foundation announced it raised more than $2.5M to end childhood hunger during the first-half of its National Restaurant Fundraiser.

One in five children in the U.S. don’t know where their next meal will come from. Since 2011, the Arby’s Foundation has contributed nearly $25 million to hunger relief organizations in all 50 states. In close partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign, Arby’s has helped bring more than 460 million meals nationwide to kids.

The fundraiser took place during a three-week period in April at Arby’s restaurants across the US. The second-half of the National Restaurant Fundraiser will take place in September.

Based on this level of giving, the Arby’s Foundation is on track to beating the more than $4.5M raised during its 2016 National Restaurant Fundraiser.
