Snappy Salads, the award-winning, eco-friendly salad restaurant, has leased 2,010 square-feet of space in the Village at Westlake retail shopping center located at 701 Capital of Texas Highway South in Austin. The space was formerly occupied by la Madeline. Snappy Salads opened its first location in 2006 and has grown to 14 locations. The Westlake location marks Snappy Salads’ first entry into the Austin market.

“Having attended UT, Austin has always been a place where I knew we needed to open Snappy Salads,” says Chris Dahlander, CEO. “Weighing equally into my decision was how many Austinites have requested a location over the years. We’re super excited about joining the Austin community and look forward to getting involved.”

In a market where steaks and barbeque dominate most menus, Snappy Salads has created a niche by offering a wide variety of entrée-style salads using honest ingredients that easily satisfy a hearty appetite. Guests can select menu favorites such as, the bestselling Grilled Avocado Salad, or create their own salad with the option to add proteins such as wild-caught Alaskan salmon or grass-fed beef. All salads are made-to-order and dressings and soups are made fresh daily in-house.

The Westlake location is scheduled to open in September and will offer indoor and outdoor seating, catering, delivery, call-ahead, and online ordering.
