Coffee truck powerhouse Lucky Lab Coffee Co. announces the soft opening of its first brick-and-mortar in Austin, Texas. The café has opened up at 2421 San Antonio Street next door to the previous home of its coffee trailer in Urban Outfitters’ concept space, Space 24 Twenty.

The café boasts an inside seating bar, spacious patio seating, a walk-up ordering window, and a full kitchen where Lucky Lab will produce its full suite of from-scratch syrups, pastries, and grab-and-go food items.

It’s a natural evolution of their three-year-old mobile coffee business that boasts a coffee truck, trailer, mobile bars, and a permanent location downtown in the newly renovated Perry Brooks Building.

“We want to provide a superior coffee experience with a Southern twist,” says Courtney Hutton, owner and cofounder of Lucky Lab Coffee Co.

“We already serve one of the best cups of coffee in Austin,” says owner and cofounder, Ron Lunan. “But our focus with the new space is to complete our vision to offer Austinites the best coffee experience in the country.”

The space is located on the Drag across the street from the University of Texas in Urban Outfitters’ “lifestyle concept” space, along with Austin staple Frank, which will be opening its newest location in the space this summer.
