Following the runaway success of its new prototype location at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Burrito Beach, Chicago’s original fast-casual Mexican chain, forges ahead with the debut of its newly remodeled Ogilvie Transportation Center location. This move further signals an exciting time for the brand, not only serving as the latest example of its continued revitalization efforts, but also its commitment to evolve and connect with its customers.

Located on the ground floor of 500 West Madison, the redesigned space showcases a contemporary feel with sleek accents and dashes of bright colors and textures. A new ordering counter raised above the array of toppings provides workers privacy while still allowing guests to watch their food prepared. Adjacent to the ordering counter is a refreshed check-out station boasting modern white tile walls with Burrito Beach’s cheerful new sunshine logo. A small window gives customers a glimpse into the kitchen, displaying the company’s commitment to quality ingredients and in-house cooking.

New graphic elements including revamped logos, decorative menuboards, and a new modern website complement the space’s rejuvenated look. Exuding cleanliness, openness, and creativity, the new design better reflects the brand and the quality of its offerings.

The redesign is part of a new chapter for the 22-year-old chain helmed by founder and CEO Gregory Schulson, with six locations throughout Chicago. By enhancing each location modeled after the newest prototype, opened in January 2018, Schulson anticipates attracting an even broader customer base. Refurbishments to the Ogilvie location also showcase Burrito Beach’s dedication to its nontraditional development addresses.

Commuters at Ogilvie looking for a quick and healthy meal choose between customizable tacos, burritos, bowls, and salads. Customers choose from a variety of premium items like grilled vegetables, goat cheese, and black beans, grass-fed beef brisket, cooked-to-order shrimp, and homemade guacamole. Burrito Beach’s Beach Body menu is also available featuring items like Veggie Chili, the Lo Carburrito, Mexican Organic Quinoa Salad, and the Skinny Combo, all under 500 calories.
