MIXT, the California-based fast-casual restaurant known for farm-fresh salads and grain bowls, is opening its first neighborhood location in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood at 3130 Fillmore Street. This will be MIXT’s 10th location and part of an expansion effort to address the Bay Area’s growing demand for high quality, healthy dining options. A grand opening celebration will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 16.

“We’re beyond excited to bring MIXT’s delicious, sustainable, and seasonal food to Cow Hollow,” says Mixt CEO Leslie Silverglide who lives in neighboring Russian Hill. “We’re looking forward to serving the growing number of San Franciscans looking for farm-fresh lunch, dinner, and weekend meals that fit their health-conscious lifestyles.”

The Cow Hollow location will offer MIXT’s most buzzworthy new addition: Mixt Market Plates. First introduced at Mixt Yerba Buena in April, Market Plates feature a choice of sustainable proteins like herb-roasted free range chicken or grilled Columbia river steelhead. Each plate comes with a homemade sauce such as chimichurri or miso ginger glaze, and two seasonal side dishes. The Fall menu sides will include roasted Brussels sprouts sprinkled with sea salt and quinoa with roasted purple cauliflower and toasted almonds. Market Plate prices range from $10.95 for a vegetarian Market Plate to $14.95 for the steelhead option.

MIXT Cow Hollow will feature the area’s only kombucha bar, with three organic options on tap along with cold brew and iced nitro chai. The location will have tabletop, booth, and outdoor seating along with easy online ordering via MIXT’s app.

MIXT’s Grand Opening Block Party on September 16th will welcome Cow Hollow residents and visitors with free artisan popsicles from Bliss Pops and balloons for kids. Plus, the first 500 guests to check in on social and make a purchase, will receive a MIXT tote with special offers from Pressed Juicery and Equinox. Ten lucky swag bag recipients will win a $75 MIXT gift card in honor of its 10th location.
