Panda Express announced the launch day of a new location in Rexburg, Idaho, on September 15 at 10:30 a.m. To commemorate the new location, the restaurant will give a percentage of launch day proceeds to the Grand Teton Council Boy Scouts of Rexburg.

Looking to become further engrained in the Rexburg community, the family-owned business will be participating in “Run to Break the Chain,” following its launch day. The fundraiser will support Operation Underground Railroad, an organization that helps to liberate children enslaved in the sex slave industry. Leading up to September 15, Panda Express’s street team will also be handing out thousands of chorks in an effort to connect to the Rexburg community.

“We’re thrilled to begin serving the area of Rexburg and becoming an integral part of the community,” says Roberto Esparza, Area Coach of Operation. “We look forward to serving guests our delicious American Chinese menu and introducing Rexburg residents to our strong family values.”

To celebrate Panda Express joining the neighborhood, the new restaurant will donate 20 percent of launch day proceeds to Grand Teton Council Boy Scouts of Rexburg. Additionally, the restaurant will continue to seek opportunities to give back through donating a percentage of a day’s proceeds to local organizations in the future.

With this opening, Panda Express is pleased to bring over 25 employment opportunities to the Rexburg area. The Panda team will offer these new members of its family chances to grow both professionally and personally at various levels.
