Award-winning restaurant PDQ—short for “People Dedicated to Quality”—will open its newest store in Phoenix, Arizona, this Sunday, September 10, making it the company’s 60th U.S. location and the first in the state of Arizona. With its quality approach, PDQ offers chef-driven recipes and mindful ingredients typically found in a fine casual restaurant with the value, speed and convenience of the fast food and fast casual segment.

PDQ in the Paradise Valley area will serve PDQ’s famous hand-breaded chicken tenders, hand-tossed salads, made-to-order sandwiches, and hand-spun milkshakes, in addition to dishes from the brand’s new chef-inspired menu created by PDQ Executive Chef Michael Brannock and Chef Bryce Bonsack. The new offerings include seasonal bowls such as the Thai Peanut and Southern Buffalo, premium chicken sandwiches like the Southern Pimento Crunch and BBQ Bacon Ranch, any of which can be made with a lettuce wrap, and specialty salads including the Kale Caesar and Garden Citrus. Along with a selection of sides including roasted garlic broccoli, sweet potatoes, PDQ beans & rice, fresh apple slices with toffee dip, and hand-breaded fresh zucchini fries, nearly everything on the menu features PDQ’s 14 homemade sauces and dressings, all made from scratch in-house every day.

“We are thrilled to bring our team of People Dedicated to Quality to the Phoenix market, and are looking forward to introducing our unique brand of food served fast and made from scratch to the great state of Arizona,” says PDQ CEO and Co-Founder Nick Reader.

At this Sunday’s grand opening, the doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and the first 50 guests in line will receive a $50 PDQ Gift Card, a complimentary lunch, and a PDQ swag bag.

A fit for all members of the family, PDQ Paradise Valley is located at 4514 E. Cactus Rd, Phoenix AZ and is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. The newest location includes PDQ’s signature open kitchen, as well as indoor and outdoor seating where guests can enjoy favorites for dine-in or take-out, as well as a drive-thru and availability to cater for events.

PDQ, which aims to develop ties in its local communities, will be working with local Paradise Valley organizations, including charitable groups, youth sports leagues and others.
