Pie Five Pizza Co. made its name by revolutionizing the way pizza is ordered, prepared and enjoyed. The made-in-five minutes, fast-casual concept is transforming yet again by adding in-house delivery to all locations across the country.
“We were thrilled to learn from our consumer research that our fans would order from Pie Five more often if we offered delivery and online ordering,” says Christina Coy, vice president of marketing for Pie Five Pizza Co. “We took that research to heart and created additional channels for guests to get their Pie Five fix. Our pizzas are custom-made and ready in just five minutes, which means we’re not only able to offer unlimited toppings at one great price, but we can deliver your pizza faster than any traditional pizza place.”
Pie Five began rolling out delivery earlier this year and has seen the demand for it grow. Approximately 30 percent of Pie Five locations now offer the service, and the company plans to deliver from 100 percent of its locations by mid-year 2018. The new delivery and online ordering format integrates seamlessly with Pie Five’s popular Circle of Crust loyalty program, providing the ultimate win-win for the brand and its guests.
This new initiative is part of a comprehensive review of the concept driven by Rave Restaurant Group CEO Scott Crane. Just last month, Crane introduced a new Pie Five prototype that includes a revamped interior, logo and menu in Plano, Texas. The next-generation design also offers wine by the bottle and glass and craft beer on tap.
“The consumer research was essential in helping us enhance and elevate the guest experience at Pie Five,” says Crane. “The research showed that our loyal guests are actually looking for additional occasions to enjoy our made-from-scratch pizzas, new menu options and desserts. Delivery adds a world of new possibilities to the mix.”
Pie Five’s fast-casual concept provides guests with a fully customizable experience from start to finish. With more than 40 fresh toppings, seven savory sauces and four made-from-scratch crusts, there’s a delicious pairing to match every guest’s preference. Pie Five also accommodates dietary restrictions by offering gluten-free crust and vegan cheese options. Complement each pizza with a freshly tossed salad, delicious chicken wings or warm cinnamon stix dessert.
