With the coming of fall comes the return of Pumpkin Spice flavors. This year, however, Krystal Restaurants are taking Pumpkin Spice to not one, but two new exciting and delicious new levels with its new Pumpkin Spice Milkshakes and Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa. The harvest-inspired beverages will be available September 25th through October 29, at participating locations, while supplies last.

“Pumpkin Spice is as much a part of autumn as changing leaves and the crispness in the air,” says Alice Crowder, Vice President of Marketing for The Krystal Company. “We just have unique recipe twists that make Pumpkin Spice distinctly ours.”  Crowder then explained that the Krystal Pumpkin Spice Milkshake was inspired by the Southern Tradition of topping Pumpkin Pie with a scoop of ice cream instead of traditional whipped cream only. Similarly, Krystal’s Pumpkin Spice hot chocolate takes the experience of sitting on the porch with a slice of pie and a mug of hot cocoa and mixes it into a single toasty warm beverage for cooler evenings.

Pumpkin Spice Milkshakes will be available at Krystal in two sizes—regular for $2.99 and large for $3.49. Pumpkin Spice Hot Cocoa comes in a single size for $1.99.

Of course, both beverages pair perfectly with any of Krystal’s classic square sandwiches, including Krystals, Krystals with Cheese, Chiks, and Pups. The Pumpkin Spice Milkshake may also be chosen as part of a Shaken Up Krystal Combo that includes 4 original Krystals and medium fries in addition to the shake.
