Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers opened its newest location in Kansas City on Tuesday at 1931 N. 98th St. near the Legends Outlet. It marks the third Freddy’s in the Kansas City metro to open just this year, following a location at I-29 and Barry Rd. and a Raytown location that opened in May.

“We’re thrilled to expand Freddy’s in Kansas City and give residents in the community another convenient location to visit,” says Randy Simon, president & CEO. “Our newest restaurant will uphold the traditional Freddy’s dining experience as we continue to provide fast, friendly service and cooked-to-order food to all of our guests.”

The 3,474 square-foot, freestanding location seats 110 guests, with additional seating available on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Menu items include Freddy’s signature lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs and crispy shoestring fries, as well as dessert treats prepared with a choice of freshly-churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“The Legends area is so dynamic, we are happy to be a part of the new development taking place just east of I-435,” Simon says. “The US Soccer National Training Center brings families from all over the country to our doorstep, as well as the Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Dairy Farmers of America headquarters. There is so much growth on the horizon for this market, Freddy’s will be a great neighbor to the businesses and residents in this area.”

The fast-casual restaurant concept currently operates 13 locations in the Kansas City metro. Freddy’s plans to continue its growth in the area and across the country.
