Grabbagreen, an Arizona-based healthy fast casual restaurant, opened in Maryland. Franchisee, Marcella Cucchiara and Michele Rehmeyer of G & G York, LLC opened their first of three locations on November 6 in Hunt Valley at 100 Shawan Road in the Hunt Valley Towne Centre. The duo will also open up two additional stores in Pennsylvania, another new state for Grabbagreen.

“We had been looking to open a restaurant for over a year and we really were on the search to open a restaurant that offered healthy eating with great tasting food,” says Marcella Cucchiara. “We came across Grabbagreen and their mission aligned perfectly with ours. After a trip to Arizona we completely fell in love with the concept and signed a three-store franchise deal to bring the West Coast concept to the East Coast.”

Cucchiara is not new to the health and fitness world. She is a certified holistic health and nutrition coach who has dedicated her life to helping others create their ideal lifestyle. “Grabbagreen really is a perfect fit. You can’t make a bad choice at Grabbagreen, and after just a few short years the concept has grown to over 25 locations across the country with many stores on the way. As a national healthy fast casual player, we hope to continue to carve our distinct niche in the fast-food industry; providing truly healthy food to customers on the go.”
