We all know hearty, filling soups are the perfect winter comfort food, and nothing pairs with a tasty bowl of soup quite like a warm melted cheese sandwich. That’s why Zoup!, the fast casual restaurant celebrated for its award-wining soups and made-to-order salads and sandwiches, is serving up a limited-time-only lineup of GourmeltZ! toasted sandwiches: the Buffalo Chix and the Hammy Sammy.
“These warm, toasted sandwiches are great on their own or paired with one of our soups, and they give Zoup! guests even more comfort on those chilly winter days,” says Zoup! founder and CEO Eric Ersher.
The Buffalo Chix features chopped chicken in a tangy Buffalo blend of ranch dressing, hot sauce, celery and Gorgonzola cheese layered between slices of cheddar. The Hammy Sammy comes with extra-thick, hand-sliced Virginia ham combined with mellow cheddar and a crisp dill pickle. Both are toasted on stone-baked ciabatta bread and are available starting Feb. 5 through April 1.
Tasty GourmeltZ! sandwiches aren’t the only additions to Zoup!’s lineup. Guests can now purchase soup in a sturdy new quart-size container perfect for storing leftovers, reusing at home or bringing hot soup to a loved one. These reusable containers can be frozen or microwaved time and time again.
Zoup! features a wide variety of award-winning soups with 12 rotating daily varieties, including low-fat, low-cal, vegetarian, made with gluten-free ingredients and dairy-free options, all served with a hunk of freshly baked bread. Customer favorites include Chicken Potpie, Lobster Bisque and Vegetarian Split Pea, but guests are encouraged to find the soup that’s perfect for them by sampling before they order. The menu also features seasonal, made-to-order salads and sandwiches, and all menu items are available in convenient catering sizes for groups of 10 or more. Online ordering is also available.
