Ono Hawaiian BBQ, known for its island-influenced Hawaiian plates, continued to expand with a new restaurant location in Surprise, Arizona. This will mark the 70th location for Ono Hawaiian BBQ, which will open to Maricopa County residents on Friday, March 16.

The Surprise opening will be celebrated with a luau and feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:45 a.m., followed by a raffle from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in which fifty $100 gift cards will be given away on the spot. There will also be a Hawaiian dance performance from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. as part of the festivities, and a buy one, get one free offer for all food items during business hours.

“Arizona is a great market for Ono, because it’s an opportunity for us to serve the taste of aloha to a desert locale,” says Joshua Liang, Chief Executive Officer of Ono Hawaiian BBQ. “Plus, it’s always great to see a community fall in love with our food for the first time.”

Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s menu features Hawaiian-inspired plate lunches and island specialties including Hawaiian BBQ Chicken, Spam Musubi, Chicken Katsu and more through a fusion of multicultural flavors. The interior design incorporates an inviting yet industrial chic feel inspired by Hawaii’s rustic elements like reclaimed wood walls, rope lighting, aqua tiles and tropical planters.

The newly opened Ono Hawaiian BBQ is located at 13864 West Bell Rd., Suite 103, Surprise, AZ 85374. Daily hours of operation will be: dining room 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and drive thru 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
