Epic Burger, Chicago’s beloved homegrown burger institution, is offering 10 cent burgers (single-patty beef burgers, while supplies last) and a special Epic Birthday Cake Shake featuring a Sweet Mandy B’s mini-burger cupcake shake-topper in honor of their 10th birthday on Tuesday, May 22.

Through their commitment to offering diners “A More Mindful Burger,” Epic Burger has proven to be an innovator and trailblazer in the elevated fast-casual category. Over the past decade, Epic Burger has changed the burger game for the better, providing Chicagoans sustainably sourced meats and produce, Halal certified beef and chicken, a revolutionary plant-based Beyond Burger, and more. With no signs of slowing down, look out for more to come from Epic Burger over the next ten years and beyond.

The fun-filled festivities for Epic Burger’s 10th birthday include:

$.10 burgers—Swing by any of Epic Burger’s eight Chicagoland locations to pick up an Original, all-natural Epic Burger specially priced at 10 cents for 10 hours.

Available in-store only, 11am — 9pm, while supplies last, one per person, The 10-cent Epic Birthday Burger includes the basic build-your-own toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, Epic Sauce) — additional toppings like premium Wisconsin cheeses, fresh avocado, nitrate-free bacon, or an organic fried egg, available at extra cost.

Epic Birthday Cake Shake —Because it’s hardly a birthday without cake, Epic Burger has teamed up with locally loved Lincoln Park bakery, Sweet Mandy B’s to create a special Epic Birthday Cake Shake. Comprised of birthday cake ice cream, strawberries and organic milk, each handmade Epic Birthday Cake Shake is topped off with made from scratch whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles and a so-cute-you-die mini burger cupcake. Also available at all eight locations for one day only, this special birthday treat joins the ranks of Epic Burgers popular lineup of handmade old-fashioned desserts shakes and is befittingly priced at $10 (in honor of turning 10!).

Change for a Change — With Epic Burger making the switch over to being cashless earlier last year, for this one day only (5/22), Epic Burger will accept cash donations benefitting Growing Home, Chicago’s leading expert in farm-based training for people with employment barriers.
