Zoës Kitchen, a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant group, announced its partnership as the only national Whole30 approved Mediterranean restaurant. In conjunction with this partnership, Zoës Kitchen is launching a Mediterranean Goodness Tour to raise awareness of nutrition and the benefits of living a healthy Mediterranean diet and lifestyle.

“At Zoës Kitchen, we are motivated to continuously offer fresh, delicious, better-for-you dining options that accommodate a diverse range of lifestyles and nutrition plans,” says Casey Shilling, Chief Marketing Officer at Zoës Kitchen. “Our fresh, scratch-made approach, inspired by the Mediterranean diet, beautifully complements the Whole30 program and we are delighted to offer choices to our guests that will help them on their nutrition journey to live their lives to the fullest.”

Whole30 is a 30-day dietary reset designed to help people improve their health, create new dietary habits, and change their emotional relationship with food. It was co-founded by Melissa Hartwig in 2009. In 2015, the program’s flagship book, The Whole30, was released and has gone on to sell more than a million hardcover copies in the United States. The Whole30 approved dining options can be found throughout the Zoës Kitchen menu and contain no added sugar, no grains, no dairy, no legumes, no alcohol and high-quality protein options.

“I am always looking for ways to make the Whole30 easier and more accessible for my community,” says Melissa Hartwig, Whole30 CEO. “Working with Zoës Kitchen to create a variety of delicious, satisfying Whole30 meals has been such an exciting project. They’ve made such efforts to create a robust selection of Whole30 approved offerings to serve our program followers, including identifying subtle modifications to some dishes on their menu to create even more options for the program. Our fans and followers are going to love the Zoës Kitchen Whole30 approved menu.”

The Whole30 website currently serves 2 million unique visitors a month with readers checking in from more than 100 different countries, and has a combined social media base of more than 2 million fans and followers. The program also has more than 90 Whole30 Coaches across the country that offer resources and services to their local community.

May is Mediterranean Diet Month and in celebration of the Whole30 partnership, Zoës Kitchen is launching a Mediterranean Goodness Tour that will include visits to Dallas; Phoenix; Denver, and Philadelphia. These visits will start June 2nd and will run through July. The Goodness Tour will include a Zoës pop-up lounge where experts will deliver the Zoës Kitchen’s Mediterranean food philosophy and the benefits of the Whole30 plan. Additionally, the lounge will include Zoës Kitchen food samples, Zoës giveaways, free yoga classes by local certified yoga instructors as well as a Whole30 Coach to educate guests about healthy eating and the 30-day dietary reset program.
