Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment and Jersey Mike’s Subs announced the title sponsorship of the 2018 Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic, an annual pre-season college basketball tournament, to be held in Montego Bay.

The newest NCAA basketball MTE tournament for college teams and their fans will be held November 16-18, 2018, in one of the most iconic destinations in the Caribbean.

“From our ongoing involvement with the NCAA, we know college basketball fans are sub sandwich fans,” says Rich Hope, Chief Marketing Officer, Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc. “Title sponsorship of the 2018 Jersey Mike’s Jamaica Classic allows us to extend the season so we can continue to engage with our customers during the tournament.”

Eight teams will participate in the tournament with 12 tournament games held on select campus sites and eight games at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in Jamaica. All eight games played in the Montego Bay Convention Centre will be televised live on CBS Sports Network.
