Flame Broiler continues its expansion with a drive-thru location in Bakersfield, California. The new location officially opened to the public on July 9 and will be the sixth Flame Broiler location for seasoned franchisee Andrew Kim.

“After opening my first franchise in 2010, I knew immediately that I wanted to expand in my hometown and give Bakersfield locals access to an affordable and healthy food option that they would really enjoy,” says Andrew Kim, Flame Broiler franchisee. “I look forward to watching this sixth location grow and cater to the Bakersfield community.”

Flame Broiler’s core menu features rice bowls that start at only 140 calories. The bowls are made with non-GMO white or brown rice, Angus beef, all-natural chicken or organic charbroiled tofu, freshly blanched vegetables, and topped with chopped green onions. For an added flavor kick, guests are invited to top bowls off with Flame Broiler’s proprietary hot sauce, double hot sauce, triple hot sauce  or its Korean BBQ-inspired Magic Sauce.

“We are excited to see the growth of our brand in the Bakersfield market,” adds Young Lee, CEO and founder of Flame Broiler. “We enjoy watching franchisees like Andrew grow, those who are truly dedicated to and support the brand’s mission of improving the lives of our consumers by giving them access to affordable, healthy food.”

The newly opened Flame Broiler is located at 12918 Brimhall Road, Bakersfield, CA 93314. The lobby hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday with the drive-thru being open until 10 p.m. On Saturday and Sunday, the lobby and drive-thru will be open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
