Atlanta Bread has revealed a new look at the company’s Smyrna restaurant located at 4490 South Cobb Drive. The fast casual café chain known for its sandwiches, soups, salads and fresh baked pastries is joining the shared workspace movement, and its revamped interior includes private meeting rooms with catering options.

“We listen to our guests and pay close attention to how they utilize our restaurants,” says Atlanta Bread’s chief operating officer Basil Couvaras. “We see a lot of people working remotely who need a quiet space to host meetings. Additionally, the increase in guests ordering to-go items through Uber Eats and Grubhub decreases the need for so many traditional seats in the main dining area. Adding the conference rooms and comfort seating allows our guests to utilize our space as a gathering spot, study room or remote office, we are no longer just a restaurant and café.”

The new conference room space features two small meeting rooms that accommodate between 8 to 14 guests (depending on the room) and audio-visual capabilities. Guests may reserve the rooms in advance by contacting the Smyrna restaurant or on-site if the room is available. Once guests reserve a room, they have the option to order catering or order upon arrival.

Built in 2002, the South Cobb restaurant is also unveiling cosmetic updates that include a brand new décor package, new furniture and additional lounge and conversation seating. The remodeled dining room seats approximately 100 guests.

Atlanta Bread’s Cumming restaurant was the first location in the company to build out the new prototype. The South Cobb location has further modified this design and serves as a test store for what Atlanta Bread believes will be the new landscape of the fast casual dining segment: spaces used not only for eating, but for meeting, working and socializing.

Atlanta Bread’s menu offers sandwiches, soups, salads, desserts and breakfast items to satisfy appetites with quality, no-fuss food. Popular catering options include hot breakfast sandwich selections, intermezzo snack trays, boxed lunches, sandwich platters and sweet samplers along with assorted beverages. All pastries and desserts are baked fresh daily at the restaurant.
