Murphy Adams Restaurant Group, owner and operator of Mama Fu’s Asian House and Austin’s Pizza, has named Julie Diaz as its new Director of Marketing.

With more than 15 years of marketing experience, Diaz will develop and incorporate clear, actionable marketing plans for new and existing menu items and events for Murphy Adams Restaurant Group. She will oversee the marketing team and lead them in implementing brand strategy and increased awareness through integrated marketing.

“Julie’s marketing experience makes her very well suited to guide this team,” says Randy Murphy, CEO of Murphy Adams Restaurant Group. “Along with her expertise in strategy, branding, and analytics, we are certain she will bring fresh ideas and valuable insight as we continue to explore new ways of marketing what Murphy Adams Restaurant Group has to offer.”

Diaz’s first charge as Director of Marketing is to focus on the growing healthy menu at Mama Fu’s Asian House, which includes gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as its newest addition, Zoodles.

Prior to joining Murphy Adams Restaurant Group, Diaz worked with brands like the Texas Hospital Association, Schlotzsky’s and Charles Schwab. Over the course of three years, Diaz held the position as Director of Marketing at the Texas Hospital Association where she developed marketing strategies, directed creative execution and managed the internal staff to grow the company and build awareness.
