Bubbakoo’s Burritos, a Jersey Shore-based eatery that touts Mexican food fused with American flavor, is continuing its takeover in the Garden State with an upcoming location in Belmar.

Located at 1603A Ocean Ave. in Belmar, the restaurant is slated to open in May 2019 and will be owned and operated by Raj Kapoor and his fiancée Valeria Cinalli.

“Valeria and I are thrilled to continue spreading Bubbakoo’s mission in Belmar. Bubbakoo’s was founded two towns away and has a loyal fan-base in Belmar already,” says Kapoor. “We hope to build upon this fan-base and convert first-time customers into lifelong friends! Bubbakoo’s is all about excellent food and positivity and that’s what we want to show.”

Prior to joining on with Bubbakoo’s, Kapoor operated several 7-11 franchises before purchasing a small food court in Belmar. Kapoor is renovating his food court by introducing Bubbakoo’s into it.

Bubbakoo’s Burritos offers the usual fast-casual burrito fare such as burritos, bowls, tacos, salad, nachos and quesadillas, but with 16 different protein options — including fried chicken, barbecue pork, Buffalo shrimp and grilled steak, as well as some more unusual flavors such as ghost pepper chicken and sriracha pork. Vegetarian options include a bean-cheese-guacamole combo. And, originals such as The Chiwawa, a cheese-smothered, panko-crusted fried rice ball, keeps Bubbakoo’s faithfuls coming back.

Beyond the menu, Bubbakoo’s offers an environment like no other, with décor reflecting the eatery’s Shore roots, inviting guests to enjoy a host of regional beachside designs, and unmatched service standards that truly make the restaurants feel like home.

“Unlike other fast-casual chains, we put the focus on an interactive, high-quality customer experience with superior food,” adds Paul Altero, co-founder and –owner of the brand. “As we continue growing in our home turf, we are confident that Raj will provide the same service we are known for and will help bring new faces into Bubbakoo’s restaurants.”

According to Altero, Bubbakoo’s has several locations in various stages of development, with plans to open 10 additional locations in 2019. The chain is looking for experienced and qualified franchisees to continue expanding the brand’s presence in New Jersey and the Tri-State area.
