Austin-based Briggo, a leader in “Connected Coffee,” announced the opening of their second robotic Coffee Haus location at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (ABIA). Their new Coffee Haus will open inside the new nine-gate expansion space and will immediately begin serving travelers, airline crews, and airport employees with gourmet coffee on-demand, 24/7.

This Briggo location will mark the second app-based, robotic, specialty coffee system installed in an airport anywhere in the world, the first of which was installed by Briggo in July of 2018 at (now) Gate 17. With a record 15.8 million passengers in 2018 and a 10.4 percent increase in traffic so far in 2019 at the Barbara Jordan Terminal, Austin-Bergstrom has become an ideal location for Briggo’s high-speed, always-on coffee experience.

“We are thrilled to expand our partnership with Austin-Bergstrom and Delaware North and serve connected coffee to an even broader audience of Austin residents and visitors. Thanks to amazing customer adoption and our space-efficient, gourmet quality offering, we’re excited to install our second Coffee Haus in Austin just before we expand operations to include two new installations inside SFO International Airport this spring and summer,” says Kevin Nater, CEO of Briggo. “We can attribute a significant portion of our momentum and growing worldwide interest to our first Coffee Haus installed here last summer.”

It has been an incredibly busy 2019 for Briggo, joining Fast Company’s list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies, successfully activating the Airport Experience Conference in Las Vegas, and once again becoming a viral hit for SXSW Festival visitors both in Austin’s Airport and at Austin’s Convention Center. Furthermore, Briggo will be a featured customer demo at the annual Dell Technologies World later this month in Las Vegas.

Rapidly expanding beyond their current footprint in Austin, Houston, and Dallas/Fort Worth, Briggo is ideal for high-traffic locations such as airports and corporate HQs where quality and convenience are in high demand. Ordering ahead from the Briggo mobile app or on the Coffee Haus touchscreens, customers become their own barista by customizing their favorite coffee and tea drinks. Using the precision and efficiency of Briggo’s robotic technology, the drinks are crafted within minutes from Briggo’s custom whole-bean blend, fresh dairy and gourmet syrups.
