McDonald’s is introducing a new buy one, get one for $1 deal on August 13 for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide.

The Buy One, Get One for $1 lineup includes the choice of any two iconic menu options such as the 100 percent fresh beef Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Big Mac, Filet-O-Fish, and 10-piece Chicken McNuggets as an entree choice. For a limited time, customers can mix or match any two of these favorite menu items, pay the regular menu price for one and get the second of equal or lesser value for just a dollar more.

“We know that many of today’s customers are looking to get more out of their dollars, and still want menu items they crave,” says Alyssa Buetikofer, McDonald’s USA Strategic Planning & Value Lead. “The new Buy One, Get One for $1 deal is the latest way we’re bringing delicious, affordable food our customers love.”

With the new Buy One, Get One for $1 and the $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu, McDonald’s said it’s providing customers a strong value platform. Earlier this year, McDonald’s enhanced the $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu to enable greater flexibility at the local market level. Local markets and owner/operators now have the opportunity to offer delicious food and beverages at a compelling value on the $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu, while also meeting the tastes and preferences of their local customers.
