Seattle chef Kathy Casey along with managing partner Stacy House opened Lucky Louie Fish Shack in Sea-Tac Airport’s Central Terminal on March 29, 2019 as part of the Port of Seattle’s plan to renovate and update the airports dining and shopping options. The new airport restaurant is a fast casual seafood concept that serves Pacific Northwest inspired classics.

“Lucky Louie Fish Shack is a restaurant truly created from my heart,” says Casey, “As a young girl growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I loved going to local fish and chip joints during summer trips to the beach. We are thrilled to share these nostalgic, local flavors with passengers.”

Lucky Louie is proud to serve wild and sustainable fish from the icy cold waters of Alaska. The signature Fish & Chips feature Alaska Pollock dipped in batter made with a splash of local Pike Place Ale, tumbled in panko and served with Rock the Boat Tartar.

Other Northwest menu items include the Old School Shrimp Melt with Tillamook Cheddar served toasty and warm on an Essential Baking Co. Potato Bun, Classic Shrimp Louie salad with house-made Louie Dressing, Honey Teriyaki Salmon with steamed Jasmine Rice and Sesame Marinated Cucumbers.

“We wanted to offer a gluten free friendly option to guests, so our signature creamy Lucky Louie Clam Chowder is a great choice,” Casey says. “And you can order it Classic; Loaded with bacon, cheddar, and green onions; or enjoy it on our Lucky’s Chowder Smothered Fries.”

For an anytime treat, guests can enjoy the irresistible “Sweet Waffle Fish,” little fish shaped waffles filled with creamy cheesecake, with your choice of dip: Chocolate Fudge, Warm Maple Bacon, NW Berry, and Salted Caramel. The Sweet Waffle Fish station is a fun place for travelers to wait for their order while watching these sweet treats being made in the automated baking machine.

Other menu offerings include breakfast options for the early morning traveler like the Fish Shack Breakfast Sandwich, a hearty egg & cheese sandwich served with signature fried fish, crispy bacon, and Rock the Boat Tartar sauce; and a Smoked Salmon Bagel served with pickled onions and sliced cucumber. Little Louie’s kids meals are sure to keep the mini-travelers happy and are served with a kid’s souvenir cup.

Lucky Louie Fish Shack joins Kathy Casey’s other Sea-Tac Airport locations, Rel’Lish Burger Lounge on Concourse B and Dish D’Lish on Concourse C.
