Each year millions of students enter a demanding world of academic and social commitments depriving them of sleep. Simply put, they enter Insomnia. Insomnia Cookies wants to ease this transition by hosting a national sweepstakes where one winner will receive free “cookies for college” to provide the tasty treat they need to keep them going throughout their school years.

Wide-eyed freshmen, upperclassmen, and Insomniacs everywhere can join the Enter Insomnia sweepstakes for a chance to win four years of free cookies (equivalent to one FREE cookie per day for four years). The grand prize winner will be announced in October along with 10 additional entrants who will receive $100 gift cards.

“Whether you’re entering school for the first time or returning for another year, the transition requires young adults to balance academic, social and often work—usually at the sacrifice of sleep,” says Seth Berkowitz, founder & CEO for Insomnia Cookies. “To kick off this school year, we want to help students enthusiastically embrace the lack of sleep that is all part of the experience. Insomnia Cookies was born in a dorm room, so focusing on this phase of life goes back to our core identity.”

In addition to the sweepstakes, on September 17, Insomnia Cookies will host late-night “pajama parties” that will let insomniacs symbolically and physically “Enter Insomnia” at all 150-plus Insomnia Cookies locations. From 10 p.m. – 3 a.m., all attending insomniacs will receive one free traditional cookie upon entry and can purchase specially priced $5 six-packs and $10 dozen packs. Even better, the first 100 fans to show up wearing pajamas will also earn free Insomnia Cookies swag.
