Main Squeeze Juice Co., a newcomer to the more than $5 billion juice market, is continuing its expansion in its hometown of New Orleans with a new location set to open early next year.

Located in The Julia Apartments at 820 Carondelet St., the new location will be owned and operated by brothers and New Orleans locals, Trevor and David Gilmore. Both brothers currently work as accountants in Louisiana and have always looked forward to opening a business together – when they found Main Squeeze, it just made sense.

“The first time I visited a Main Squeeze, I loved everything they had to offer,” David says. “Their menu really has something for everyone, and we’re thrilled to bring Main Squeeze to the CBD and The Julia. We’re excited to be right in the middle of it all and become a part of our customers’ everyday lives.”

Main Squeeze’s mission is to make healthy easier, and the company’s nutritionist-designed, superfood-centric menu does exactly that. Their gluten-free and vegan menu offers a daily source of plant-based nutrition packed with natural and quick energy. The concept’s proprietary recipes feature chef-inspired cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, along with one-, two- and three-day juice cleanse programs, shots, and acai bowls created from organic and wild-harvested acai berries from the Amazon rainforest in Northeast Brazil.

“Health begins and ends with how you choose to fuel your body and your lifestyle,” says Nieto. “We strongly believe in reviving the idea of ‘food as medicine’ through our menu – combining the timeless simplicity of fruits and vegetables in a nourishing and refreshing way.”

To augment the company’s growth, Main Squeeze is seeking franchise partners who have a passion for wellness, clean eating, fitness, and community involvement. Including a franchise fee of $35,000, the total investment to open a 1,300-1,800 square-foot Main Squeeze Juice Co. store ranges from $300,000 – $595,000. A typical location will seat 15-25 people, and will retain approximately 10-15 employees.

“Main Squeeze has unlimited growth potential as we can operate in literally any type of location where millennials or young professionals exist,” adds Nieto. “From colleges and universities to sports arenas, airports and malls, we are poised to grow everywhere. In smaller footprints, Main Squeeze is a perfect complement to businesses such as fitness studios, coffee houses and health food stores.”
