The team at Pizzeria Locale, including owners Bobby Stuckey, Master Sommelier, and founding chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson, with culinary director Jordan Wallace and brand manager Chris Donato, announcde the opening of the third Denver location at 7505 East 29th Place, in the Town Centre across from the Founder’s Green in Stapleton.

The Stapleton location is the first to offer a seasonal Spritz and Beer On Tap (in addition to Stuckey and Mackinnon-Patterson’s Frico Wines On Tap), grab & go salads, outdoor seating for 30 guests and two “make” lines for faster service for both dine-in and digital orders. The Stapleton location also boasts a new interior, executed by Raw Creative, featuring light woods, bespoke murals depicting the neighborhood’s roots as the city’s original airfield from famed local artist Pat Milbery, original photographs from Fort Collins native Dave Woody, and more.

“We couldn’t be more excited to open our first Colorado location in five years,” says Donato. “At the new Stapleton Pizzeria, we’ve included features to ensure a smooth and quick experience for our guests whether in person or online. Tap beer and spritz cocktails are also being added back to the beverage program for the first time since the original Boulder location. We look forward to sharing the pleasure of the perfect pizza with our new neighbors in the neighborhood.”

“The creative partnership with the Pizzeria Locale team is great and I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to create some custom art for the new Stapleton location and community of pizza lovers,” says Milbery. “The So-Gnar Creative Division team and I did our very best to pay homage to the roots of Stapleton airport through our interpretation of airplane icons while combining a fun style of classic line art to the atmosphere. I think the art gels well the photography from Naples.”

Pizzeria Locale serves pizza inspired by the streets of Naples, Italy, in some of Denver’s most beloved neighborhoods, including South Broadway and Highlands Square. This ‘Neighborhood Neapolitan’ style was created as a result of Mackinnon-Patterson and Stuckey’s culinary travels throughout Italy and years of fine dining experience, including their flagship restaurant Frasca Food and Wine in Boulder.

Each Pizzeria Locale pizza is made with a signature four-ingredient dough (flour, water, yeast and salt) that’s fermented overnight and hand-stretched to order. The menu includes Classic pizzas – mainstays like Pepperoni, Supreme, Margherita and Veggie – as well as Build Your Own pizzas, allowing guests to create their own combinations from a selection of ingredients. The high-quality ingredients include meat that is responsibly raised without hormones or antibiotics and rBST-free cheeses, all presented in an interactive service line. Pizzas are baked for about three minutes in a custom-designed, high-temperature Neapolitan Smart oven that perfectly browns each pizza and adds just a touch of char. A selection of grab & go salads, including Antica, Caponata, Tuna and Pizzeria, and sides, including Pork Meatballs, freshly sliced La Quercia Prosciutto, Cheesy Bread, as well as Budino, a butterscotch pudding with chocolate and whipped cream, round out the menu.

Pizzeria Locale Stapleton offers a seasonal, house-made Spritz On Tap; the Winter Spritz includes OliKo Ginger Beer, Mile High Elevate Vodka, blood orange juice and basil. OliKo (aw-lee-co) is owned and operated in Boulder, CO, by Gabe Olive-Kose, a Pizzeria Locale alum. This location is also the first to serve Beer On Tap, highlighting local and independent craft brewers. Denver Beer Company’s Pretzel Assassin (Vienna Lager) is available by the pint, in addition to Scarpetta Frico Bianco and Frico Rosso On Tap. Frico Lambrusco and Frico Frizzante canned wines, a selection of local independent beers and non-alcoholic beverages are also offered. Happy Hour is available 7 days a week from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., offering buy one get one (BOGO) beer or wine with purchase of a pizza.
