GasBuddy, a travel and navigation app used by more North American drivers to save money on gas, announced their partnership with Wendy’s to promote its 4 for $4 meal deals through GasBuddy’s new ad format, Restaurant Details Pages.

“Now more than ever, customers need value and consistency in their on-the-go food choices,” says Jimmy Bennett, VP of media and social at Wendy’s. “With Wendy’s 4 for $4, guests get a full meal made from quality ingredients. Having recently worked with GasBuddy on our national breakfast launch, we are pleased to continue our partnership with them to provide meaningful value to the driving audience.”

Wendy’s is the first brand to utilize GasBuddy’s new Restaurant Details Pages, which includes premium display ads for promotional messaging, video formats and custom call-to-action buttons that can direct customers to view the menu, order on the restaurant’s website, download app, get driving directions and learn more about additional offerings.

“GasBuddy’s Restaurant Details Pages enables quick service restaurants to provide clarity around their dining options during the COVID-19 pandemic,” adds Jordan Grossman, EVP of advertising sales at GasBuddy. “Millions of consumers have turned to their phones to determine what is open locally, in what capacity, and that constantly changes from day to day. Our new mobile ad format ensures Wendy’s customers are clearly informed, incentivized to drive to a location and purchase their 4 for $4 offerings in advance, helping to make quick serve quicker and safer.”

Restaurant and retail brands that partner with GasBuddy continue to see an increase in store visitation through GasBuddy’s ad offerings, with an average lift of 26% throughout the pandemic.
