Portillo’s, the fast-casual restaurant concept known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, is excited to announce its upcoming restaurant in Westfield, Indiana. This marks the seventh restaurant in the state for Portillo’s.

The site for the upcoming Portillo’s restaurant sits at the entrance to the Grand Park Sports Complex, the nation’s largest youth sports campus. Located at the intersection of Wheeler Road and State Road 32, the traffic-heavy area is less than a mile from the 400-acre facility that draws in 2.5 million visits annually with a variety of year-round sporting events.

“As a family-focused restaurant brand, we’re excited to be right by the Grand Park Sports Complex that welcomes so many families each year,” said Michael Osanloo, CEO of Portillo’s. “We look forward to serving delicious meals in a fun environment to the local community as well as to athletes and their families and friends.”

Guests can expect to enjoy Portillo’s signature menu items like Chicago-Style Hot Dogs, Famous Italian Beef Sandwiches, Char-Grilled Burgers and Portillo’s Famous Chocolate Cake.

“With more than 2 million visits to Grand Park a year, Westfield is a destination. We also know Portillo’s, with its quality food, is a destination restaurant. The two will complement each other well,” said Mayor Andy Cook. “As our city grows, we welcome strong organizations, like Portillo’s, that see the opportunity, the quality of our community and choose to invest with confidence in Westfield.”

The 7,800-square-foot restaurant is expected to open in the second half of 2021. It will feature seating for more than 190 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio with seating for 100, and double drive-thru lanes. Located near the Monon Trail, a popular hiking and biking path that runs from downtown Indianapolis through Westfield, the restaurant will also offer bicycle spots for guests coming from the Trail. Once complete, it will include a diner-themed interior, drawing inspiration from the 1950s and 1960s.

Fans are invited to sign up for the chance to attend a free sneak peek training meal prior to opening at www.portillos.com/westfield/. Loyal customers will also receive updates on Portillo’s Westfield development.
