September 2020 marks the 60th anniversary of service for Hardee’s, and the brand is celebrating all National Biscuit Month long by releasing a series of limited-edition Made From Scratch Biscuit recipes for fans to create at home.

Since Wilber Hardee opened his first restaurant in Greenville, North Carolina on September 3, 1960, Hardee’s has grown to more than 1,800 locations across the U.S. to serve guests with innovative yet familiar flavors—from Made From Scratch Biscuits, Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders and Hand-Scooped Milkshakes.

Because the delicious Made From Scratch Biscuits are such a fan favorite, making up almost one-third of the brand’s total sales (32%), Hardee’s created four exclusive recipes inspired by local flavors of the South.

Beginning September 1, the one-of-kind recipes, curated by Owen Klein, VP of Global Culinary Innovation, will be released weekly via Hardee’s social channels, starting with a Fried Green Tomato Biscuit tomorrow followed by a Shrimp and Grits Biscuit, Southern Style Biscuit with a tangy pimento filling and Nashville Hot Chicken Biscuit throughout the month.

Starting September 21, Hardee’s is giving fans the opportunity to vote on which recipe they’d like to see in stores.
