Following the successful launch of its groundbreaking ghost kitchen franchise model in July of this year, The Local Culinary has added five new brands to its growing roster of offerings, which now totals nearly 50 unique virtual restaurant concepts. Known for pioneering innovation in the food delivery space, the Miami-based virtual restaurant group provides consumers with modern, chef-driven food delivery options, while affording independent restaurant owners the ability to leverage its designed-for-delivery concepts within their own kitchen spaces, creating new revenue streams at a critical time for the industry.

Since its original launch as a ghost kitchen in 2019, The Local Culinary has elevated the delivery experience and expanded its dynamic roster of brands.  The five new brands added to its portfolio today include:

The Crispy Wings – bringing assortment and variety to perfectly executed chicken wings – a go-to just in time for the return of football season

La Casa Del Tacos – specializing in high-quality tacos with authentic Mexican ingredients including “Korean fusion,” “Cuban fiesta” and “spicy tuna poke” offerings

Jack’s Bagel – delivering new style bagels with unique toppings such as the “fried chicken guacamole bagel” and the “barbecue brisket bagel”

El Patron Empanadas – offering an innovative twist on a classic Spanish dish

Muchacho Burrito – specializing in crave-worthy classic like the “carnitas” and “pollo asado” burritos, as well as “new school” options such as the “steak chimichurri,” “portobello mushroom,” and “Impossible Meat” burritos.

Founded by seasoned restaurant industry veteran Alp Franko, The Local Culinary now has three South Florida locations and – citing dine-in service limitations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic – expanded into franchising in July 2020.  As the first-ever ghost kitchen franchise model, The Local Culinary gives restaurant owners access to its expansive list of profit-driven brands and successful delivery-only model. The new low-risk, low-cost, easy-to-implement program launched in July 2020 and has attracted hundreds of potential franchisees across the country.

“As the demand for high-quality food delivery options continues to increase, so too does the pressure on independent restaurateurs, who are facing challenges unlike any other time in history,” says Franko.  “Our expansive portfolio of designed-for-delivery concepts have been successfully replicated in our first franchisee’s kitchens, helping them create new revenue streams and diversify their local customer bases. We are excited to continue expanding our brand offerings with new concepts on a consistent basis, and we look forward to welcoming other restaurant owners into our family as we grow into the future.”

The Local Culinary Is available for delivery via Uber Eats, Postmates, GrubHub and DoorDash.
