American Dairy Queen Corporation recently announced its new DQ Grill & Chill restaurant opening in Taylor, Michigan. Conveniently situated at 8115 Telegraph Rd., the restaurant is locally owned by DQ operators Ali and Sam Haidous.

While following local county guidelines and safety protocols, the restaurant will officially open Thursday, February 11 and will serve fans daily through its drive-thru and lobby.

“After opening our first DQ restaurant in Dearborn, we were eager to work with the brand again and jump in for more,” says Ali Haidous. “My family and I are looking forward to engaging with the Taylor community by bringing smiles to the faces of the brand’s fans. We are thankful to have another opportunity to work with the DQ® corporate team who have supported us along the way. We are excited to start serving our neighbors in Taylor very soon.”

Ali and Sam enter the ownership of his second DQ location with more than 20 years of experience in the food industry under their belt. The brothers have lived in the area for more than 20 years and have a keen understanding of what customers expect from their local restaurants. Together they will oversee daily operations at the DQ Grill & Chill® in Taylor and plan on hosting events in future to benefit local youth sports teams, a cause which is close to their hearts.

What began as the 10-cent sale of an unknown frozen treat in 1938 quickly boomed into one of the most well-known companies of all time. Maintaining its recipe for success throughout 80 years, ADQ now has more than 7,000 locations worldwide.
