Torchy’s fan-favorite Roscoe Taco is back as March’s Taco of the Month. With a savory-sweet one-two punch of crispy waffle and fried chicken served side by side in a taco, this flavor heavyweight’s back on the menu at participating Torchy’s locations March 1-31.
The Roscoe features a crispy waffle, fried chicken, bacon and a fried cage-free egg nestled into a flour tortilla and drizzled with maple syrup, for $5.95.
“The Roscoe is a longtime taco junkie favorite, and we love bringing it back every year,” says Mike Rypka, founder of Torchy’s Tacos. “The Roscoe features a crispy waffle, fried chicken and other breakfast fillings inside, but this taco’s too good to be confined to just breakfast. Our fans love this sweet and savory taco any time of the day.”
Guests can pair up the Roscoe with Torchy’s featured March Margarita, the Sangria Swirl. Available frozen or on the rocks, this colorful margarita starts with Torchy’s signature margarita made with 100 percent pure agave Reposado Tequila by Exotico, Triple Sec and freshly squeezed limes, with a swirl of house-made sangria.
The Roscoe is available March 1 at participating Torchy’s Tacos locations. Portions of the proceeds from all Taco of the Month sales go to Torchy’s charitable partners.
The craft casual restaurant chain continues to grow its footprint across the U.S. with its recent announcement of expansion plans in 2021, including entering Tennessee, North Carolina and Indiana. Torchy’s has more than 80 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Arkansas, Louisiana, Missouri and Kansas.
