Tampa-based Green Market Cafe, a fast casual restaurant group, has established a customer fundraising program keeping social distancing in mind, according to Andrew Koumi, owner.

“During the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations depending on fundraising have had a severe challenge,” says Koumi. “We figured out a way to help them with needs.”

The fundraising program provides the organization a unique online order link,

QR code and social marketing pack. It can be used toward takeout or curbside deliveries.

“The program allows a 30-day window for the organization to raise funds,” Kourmi adds. “We will provide 20 percent of sales back to the organization.”

Green Market Café currently has three locations open, all in the Tampa Bay area:  Clearwater, Oldsmar and Trinity. It specializes in fresh and flavorful menu items.

According to Koumi, he got inspiration for Green Market Café while a student at the University of Florida. He was frustrated on not finding fresh and healthier food. He says the food philosophy is composed of three simple concepts: sustainability, balanced nutrition and always-fresh ingredients.
