Moe’s Southwest Grill asked guests to enter the I Love Queso Video Contest at www.ilovequeso.com by uploading a one-minute video about their love for Moe’s Queso. Moe’s announced that the winning video is I Love Dat Queso Divine ft. Chipz. Creator and grand prize-winner Christiano Covino, of New Canaan, Connecticut, will receive $1,000 and free queso for a year.
The five runners up are: Dustin Chan-Pong of Lakeland, Florida, with The Moe’s Queso Rap; David Mitchell of Warrington, Pennsylvania, with Gimmee That Queso; Dan Slemons of Morrow, Georgia, with Dr. Queso; David Gross of Mars, Pennsylvania, with I Love Queso – Welcome to Moe’s; and Peter Venoit of Virginia Beach, Virginia, with Queso Enthusiast.
After more than 100 submissions, Moe’s panel of judges selected the winning videos based on originality, quality, humor, and sincerity.
“We were thrilled by the number of quality submissions to the I Love Queso Video Contest,” says Joel Bulger, vice president of marketing for Moe’s Southwest Grill. “It wasn’t easy picking a top six, but we think these videos really capture people’s love for queso in a very fun and unique way.”
