Energy Kitchen is bringing its brand of health-conscious fast food to the Upper West Side. The chain signed a lease for its tenth location at 142 West 72nd Street, between Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus Avenue. Jamie Rogers of Winick Realty Group brokered the 15-year deal with City Connections.

Energy Kitchen plans to open the 1,600-square-foot space in fall 2010. The chain’s first Upper West Side location will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Energy Kitchen is a healthy, fast-casual restaurant that provides nutritious and convenient meal choices. Its low-fat, low-calorie menu boasts wraps, salads, burgers, sides, and more that never exceed 500 calories each. The chain opened its first New York City location in 2004 and plans to open 15 more stores in the metropolitan area this year. By 2014, Energy Kitchen expects to have 100 storefronts in the Northeast, California, and Florida.
