Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina, one of the nation’s fastest growing, fast-casual Mexican restaurant chains, is celebrating Cinco de Mayo with a week-long promotion at its restaurants across the country. From May 3-9, guests can add a large combo to any entrée for just 55 cents, which includes Salsarita’s famous seasoned chips, choice of fresh signature salsa, and a large drink.

“There’s no better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo this year than stopping by Salsarita’s for a delicious, fresh Mexican meal, in an inviting atmosphere and receive world-class hospitality,” says Paul Mangiamele, president and CEO of Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina. “We invite families and friends to join us in the festivities and take advantage of this celebratory pricing.”

“Honoring Cinco de Mayo has become a tradition at Salsarita’s, and we believe it’s important to celebrate Mexico’s culture,” Mangiamele says. “We’re looking forward to offering some of our most popular menu items at a discounted price and believe our customers will appreciate the value.”

With new locations opening across the country, Salsarita’s is one of the leading fast-casual Mexican restaurants in the United States, and is quickly gaining brand recognition and a reputation for quality and legendary hospitality. The company was recently ranked No. 39 in the top 100 Fast Casual Movers and Shakers for 2009.

Salsarita’s experienced great success in 2009 with new restaurants opening in Charlotte and Greenville, North Carolina; Clarence, New York; Jacksonville, Florida; Murfreesboro and Knoxville, Tennessee; and other markets around the country. New development agreements were signed for the opening of more than 15 locations in the U.S.

The company is currently closing in on its first hundred restaurants with the goal of having 200 restaurants open and operating by the end of 2014. Most recently, a location opened at Auburn University in Alabama, and restaurants in Puerto Rico; Tyler, Texas; and Overland Park, Kansas; are slated to open this spring.

Salsarita’s is currently looking for qualified candidates with foodservice, operations, or real estate experience to join its team as area representatives, area developers, or single-unit franchisees. The company’s comprehensive training and support program includes a three-week Burrito Boot Camp at the corporate headquarters, pre- and post-grand opening on-site support, and ongoing business coaching.
