QSR Automations, a provider of in-store, online, and mobile connected technology solutions for hospitality businesses worldwide, completed a roll out of a complete kitchen automation solution with CKE Restaurants Inc. in all 482 company-operated Hardee’s restaurants. In addition to recommending the QSR kitchen solution to its Hardee’s franchisees and international licensees, CKE also tested and approved the solution for Carl’s Jr.

“The reliable, robust kitchen automation solutions and responsive, quality service we are receiving from QSR Automations are an outstanding fit for our company’s focus on operational excellence, guest service, and product innovation,” says Tom Lindblom, vice president and chief technology officer for CKE Restaurants.

CKE’s selected solution includes QSR’s ePic Kitchen Display Software (ePic KDS) along with reliable QSR kitchen video controllers, durable QSR keypads, and QSR bracketing. The Hardees’s restaurants were implemented over a five-month period, with QSR providing customized staging services for each restaurant.

“QSR is proud to have been selected as the preferred kitchen automation solution provider for CKE,” says Andrew M. Sonntag, chief operating officer for QSR Automations. “QSR has been privileged to work with the most recognized quick-service companies. We look forward to partnering with CKE, a company known for premium quality, to help their restaurants exceed guest expectations and streamline costs.”
