Qdoba Mexican Grill announced a “Give Blood. Get Great Grub” promotional partnership with the American Red Cross—evidence of Qdoba’s ongoing commitment to work with organizations that positively impact the communities they serve.

As part of April’s “Give Blood. Get Great Grub” program, all presenting donors at American Red Cross blood drives in Southern and Northern Massachusetts will receive a Qdoba coupon redeemable for one free Craft 2 menu item at any of Qdoba’s 17 Massachusetts locations.

Craft 2 allows guests to mix and match smaller portions of Qdoba’s most popular menu items, including a Naked Burrito, Naked Taco Salad, taco, quesadilla, and tortilla soup. The smaller portions of the Craft 2 menu provides guests with the opportunity to create several nutritious meal combinations for fewer than 600 calories.

“The American Red Cross plays a vital role in our region’s blood donation, disaster relief, health and safety instructing, and youth mentoring efforts, that it only made sense to partner with them,” says Jeff Ackerman, president and CEO of local Qdoba franchise Chair 5. “Qdoba is passionate about supporting charitable causes in our local community and we are honored to work with such an esteemed organization that positively impacts millions of people worldwide.”

In addition to offering all presenting donors a coupon for one free Craft 2, Qdoba is promoting blood drives in its communities during the month of April through in-store signage, helping to raise awareness about the constant need for blood while increasing blood drive appointments.

“The American Red Cross is pleased to partner with Qdoba Mexican Grill for the ‘Give Blood. Get Great Grub’ program in Massachusetts,” says Donna M. Morrissey, director of communications for American Red Cross, Northeast Division. “The American Red Cross relies on generous sponsors like Qdoba to help us maintain a sufficient blood supply for patients in need. We are thrilled to have Qdoba on board in support of our important mission.”
