Radiant Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: RADS) has a new agreement with FOCUS Brands, the parent company of Moe’s Southwest Grill, to implement the Aloha Enterprise solution along with Radiant P1520 point-of-sale hardware terminals in all new and remodeled franchise locations of the fast-casual southwestern eatery.

The agreement expands Radiant’s relationship with FOCUS Brands, where it already provides technology solutions and support for Schlotzsky’s, Carvel, and Cinnabon outlets.

“As Moe’s continues to grow, it became apparent that we needed to bring a consistent technology solution to our restaurants for better operational efficiency and detailed above-store reporting,” says Paul Damico, president of Moe’s.

“The Aloha Enterprise solution not only offers us the advantage of automating restaurant operations and measuring site performance, but the Radiant team’s willingness to provide the best customer service possible far exceeded our expectations.”

Moe’s is rolling out Aloha Quick Service POS running on Radiant P1520 hardware terminals as well as MenuLink Inventory back office software to streamline operations in its restaurants. In addition, Moe’s will be centrally deploying Aloha Configuration Center and Aloha Command Center.

The Moe’s team is gaining insight from Aloha Configuration Center and MenuLink Inventory’s above-store capabilities, allowing them to improve store-level controls and decrease food and labor costs.

“We are pleased that Moe’s has chosen to move forward with our enterprise solution, and that FOCUS Brands continues to see the value that our products provide them through speed of service improvements and reductions in operating costs,” says Tad Phelps, vice president of sales and marketing for the hospitality division at Radiant Systems.

“The strength of our partnership and commitment to our philosophy of creating “Customers for Life” was also critical to FOCUS Brands’ decision to select Radiant Systems as their technology partner for Moe’s.”
