To help guests with their health-focused resolutions, Corner Bakery Cafe is introducing its “100 Under 600” program showcasing over 100 different soup, salad, and sandwich combos under 600 calories.

According to experts, up to 97 percent of people will break their resolutions before year’s end. Corner Bakery Cafe’s “100 Under 600” program was introduced to make calorie-conscious eating easier while still enjoying a wide variety of options.

“So many people give up on their resolution to eat healthy because they feel like they have to sacrifice their favorite foods,” says Ric Scicchitano, senior vice president of Food and Beverage for Corner Bakery. “Our guests find that it’s easier to keep their resolutions when they dine with us, because, with over 100 different soup, salad, and sandwich combinations under 600 calories, they can enjoy great tasting, but sensible meals year round without making drastic changes to their diet.”

Several of the hand-tossed salad, signature sandwich, toasty Panini, and homemade soup combos featured in the “100 Under 600” program include Chicken Pesto on Ciabatta & Roasted Tomato Basil Soup, Club Panini & Chicken Noodle Soup, and the D.C. Chicken Salad Sandwich & Caesar Salad.

As an extension of the “100 Under 600” program, guests are invited to follow @CornerBakery on Twitter and to respond to questions on topics like healthy eating, nutrition, and exercise. From January 11 to February 19, Corner Bakery Cafe will tweet questions twice daily Monday through Friday, and the first five followers to respond via @reply will be mailed an offer for a free Corner Combo.
