Boston Pizza Restaurants LP named Mike Best, its former CFO, to the role of chief operating officer and introduced Randy Steinbrenner to the position of vice president of sales and marketing. The announcement was made by Jim Treliving, founder and CEO of Boston’s.

“Mike and Randy’s significant industry experience speaks for itself,” Treliving says. “Boston’s has seen major growth in recent years, and, as we continue to grow our business across North America, it is reassuring having these gentlemen in leadership positions.”

Best has been with Boston’s since 2003 when he was hired as the CFO. Best came to Boston’s with more than 15 years of financial and operational experience at the executive level. He began his career at Ernst & Young, after which he held the positions of senior vice president, chief operating officer, and CFO at several retailing and manufacturing companies.

Randy Steinbrenner joins Boston’s after four years as the vice president of marketing for Tony Roma’s. Prior to Tony Roma’s, Steinbrenner was a senior marketing manager at Applebee’s International, where he was responsible for all bar initiatives.
